Dating Danielle |
|
|
Synopsis.
When it comes to dating, Danielle has the worst luck in the
world. If the guy is not too tall, he's
too short; if he's not too loud, he's too quiet; if he's not broke and
self-pitying, he's rich and self-centered. Dating
Danielle follows her romantic misadventures, as Danielle veers from one bad
match to another. After too many false starts and bad endings, she finally
gives in and goes to a dating service that promises to find "The Perfect
One" for her. However, after a mix-up on her match-up, Danielle is stuck
with her worst date ever… or is she? |

Following in the tradition of such films as Jared Hess’s Napoleon Dynamite, Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead, and Wes Anderson’s Bottle Rocket, PrimaDonna Productions has plans to make Dating Danielle into a feature length movie based on the short film. Produced in 2007 for San Antonio’s 48 Hour
Film Project, the original Dating
Danielle has gone on to become one of PrimaDonna Productions’ most popular
films, winning numerous awards and screening at festivals across Texas. While the short focused on a single date, the
feature (reuniting the stars and creative team behind the original film) will
expand Danielle’s story to reveal how she got to that “worst date ever”, and
where she goes from there… | |
