About this project:
Dating Danielle is PrimaDonna Production's entry into the 48 Hour Film Festival.
This contest is designed to challenge local filmmakers by requiring them to create a short film in 48 hours.
Teams are given a list of requirements, and must incorporate them into their script.
This year, these requirements are:
- A character named Ted Butler or Thelma Butler (who is a personal assistant)
- As a prop, there must be a calendar incorporated somewhere in the film
- A line of dialouge "Keep that thing away from me"
- Since this is San Antonio's first time hosting the festival, teams had to include a local landmark in the film
Finally, each individual team is given a specific genre which describes the type of film they will make.
Team PrimaDonna was given the genre "Film de Femme".
This genre was created by the 48 Hour Film festival, and constitutes a storyline with a strong female lead.
After recieving all the requirements each team then had two days to write a script, shoot the scenes, and edit the result.
And the result is Dating Danielle
