We had a fantastic time at the North East School of the Arts production of Grease (watch for Lee's thoughts in an upcoming blog). If you were there, I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did; if you missed it, there will be more chances to support NESA and the amazing talent there.
On Saturday, March 6, at 2PM, Barnes & Noble at La Cantera (map) will host a Bookfair, with a special performance by America's Got Talent finalist Donald Braswell and guests from NESA. A portion of the proceeds from all purchases in the store that day will be donated to the school.
On Tuesday, March 23, Culver's Restaurant (5836 De Zavala Road - map) will host its own NESA fundraiser from 5-9 PM. A portion of the proceeds of all purchases during that time will benefit The NESA Fund.
We hope you can come out to these events and show your support for the school and its students. Thank you once again for your time and for helping us spread the word - let's keep the arts strong in our schools!
