The PrimaDonnas

PrimaDonna Productions was formed by Nikki Young and Chadd Green while attending the Southwest Texas Theatre program. It was there they realized their similar ideals of quality filmmaking. While their peers were simply talking about producing their own projects, they decided to actually do something.

Monique "Nikki" Young President Nikki received her B.F.A. in Theatre from Southwest Texas State University and graduated from the Producer's Program at The Hollywood Film Institute. Since graduating, she has been acting and directing in and around San Antonio. Email Nikki.	Chadd Green Vice President Chadd received his B.F.A. in Theatre from Southwest Texas State University. He has since directed many plays around San Antonio and has designed the lights, set, and sound for many shows. It was his passion for design that helped lead he and Nikki to change directions with their company to include, not only designs for the stage, but marketing materials as well. Lee Hurtado Writing Services Coordinator Lee received his MA in English from the University of Texas at Austin. His articles have appeared in the Texas Music Coalition newsletter, and in SWAG (Southwest Actors Guide) magazine; he also co-wrote PrimaDonna's award-winning short film Dating Danielle. Lee is responsible for writing promotional copy and grant proposals for PrimaDonna and its clients. Email Lee	Gillen Burch Web Developer In addition to updating PrimaDonna’s website, Gillen is also responsible for developing and maintaining websites for clients, such as Alamo City Fine Art (www.alamocityfineart.com), short films such as PrimaDonna Productions' Dating Danielle (www.datingdanielle.com), as well as developing and improving client MySpace pages. A.J. Garces Director of Photography A.J., a freelance illustrator by trade, was born and raised in Cali, Colombia and moved to Texas in 1987. Since then his work has appeared in such news and entertainment publications as Entertainment Weekly, National Geographic, Newsweek, and Playboy. A.J joined the PrimaDonna team in the fall of 2006, and has worked on several of its video and film projects, including the award-winning short films Dating Danielle and Crush. Michael Druck Michael Druck has been an exceptional asset to PrimaDonna Productions through casting and talent coordinating. We are both pleased and saddened that he has moved on to focus more of his attention on his own production company, Film Classics.	Kat O'Neal Kat has been with PrimaDonna Productions since almost the beginning and in our hearts she will always be a prima donna. Kat, however, is leaving or immediate family to pursue her career in New York City.
